South west Wales - Saundersfoot, Tenby

On Tuesday 3rd September we headed towards south west Wales and the beach towns of Saundersfoot and Tenby. We really like Saundersfoot - not quite as large and busy as Tenby.  The weather at the start of the day was misty, foggy and quite cool as we left Bridgend, but the weather forecast said the sun would start to break through by around 2-3pm and be blue sky by 4pm. We didn't really believe this, but that is exactly what happened.  We were paddling by the seaside in almost full blue sky at 4pm.

We also drove around Pembroke and saw this castle, but didn't have time to check it out.

The tide was coming in so quickly that our beautiful mermaid only lasted for a few minutes...
